LABOR RELATIONS AND COLLECTIVE BARGAINING

The FOP Washington state Labor Services Unit can assist your officers in organization/reorganization of a formal Collective Bargaining Unit per NLRB, and provide support in contract negotiations, with a team of state ad nationally recognized Law Enforcement Labor Law attorneys, Accountants and professional arbitrators and negotiators. NOTE-For individuals/groups belonging to tribal police and other agencies where no collective bargain is available or allowed by law, the FOP Legal Defense Plan coverage covers administrative/disciplinary, criminal and civil representation. FOP NATIONAL LEGAL DEFENSE:

The FOP Legal Defense Plan provides active members legal defense of administrative/disciplinary, civil and criminal actions through FOPs Washington State Counsel. Adminstrative, Civil and Criminal Group premiums are $325 per year, Check, Paypal, or ACH or via Direct Deposit ($35.42 monthly or $16.35 per pay period which includes annual membership. One half year membership + one quarter Legal Payment of $116.50) is due prior to starting ACH or Direct Deposit Tribal Officers may elect Criminal and Civil at $75 per year. For those without Payroll deduction, you may pay individually annually or semiannually, or; ACH payment options are available through the lodge. RETIRED OFFICERS LIABILITY INSURANCE:

Unlimited Criminal and Civil coverage is available for Retired/Qualied Officers under the Federal Law Enforcement Officer's Safety Act of 2004Cost is $75 per year for members. (Officers must meet qualifications and complete Basic Handgun Proficiency Course per WCJTC guidelines.)
