Location: Poulsbo Sportsmen’s Club, 16990 Clear Creek Road, Poulsbo, WA 98370.
If you are a current qualifier, and have a card issued within the last 18 months by Lodge 1, you may RSVP for this shoot by making payment by check or PayPal (there is an added convenience fee of $4 if you use PayPal).
Completion of the waiver form is required for NEW applicants only.
Cards expired on or before March 2025 must submit a new application with their payment.
New qualifiers must submit an application with a copy of their agency-issued photo credentials and payment. Payment is required prior to the date of the shoot. No payments will be accepted the day of the shoot. Cost is $20 for FOP Lodge 1 members and $60 for non-members. Proceeds help support the Dennis R. Allred Memorial Scholarship and other Lodge 1 activities.

PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS: Shooters shall bring their own firearms and ammunition. (Recommend at least 50 rounds of ammunition per qualifying weapon.)
For safety purposes, only factory-loaded ammunition will be allowed for use during this qualification.
Please bring sufficient loaded magazines and/or speed-loaders to accomplish 25 round qualifications without delays and interruptions of other participants.
All firearms must be in good working order and will be inspected by staff prior to qualifications. Unsafe or illegally modified firearms are not permitted.
Belt slide, pancake, or paddle holsters are recommended. Soft (unreinforced) inside the waist band holsters are not recommended and may cause delays re-holstering during timed shooting events. No cross-draw, shoulder holsters, or ankle holsters will be permitted.
Deliberate unsafe acts will result in non-qualification and ejection from the range and forfeiture of fee.Dress appropriately for the weather, wear comfortable clothing, but not that would interfere with ability to draw and/or holster a weapon.

Bring safety glasses and hearing protection.
This is not a training event. No firearms instruction will be provided beyond the range safety briefing.
Unsafe weapon handling will result in non-qualification and removal from the range without a refund.

REQUIRED CREDENTIALS: Applicants' names will be checked against the WA State Criminal Justice Training Center Disqualification List and the National Disqualification Index.Disqualified applicants will not be permitted to participate and their fees will be refunded.

Effective July 1, 2026: The CJTC requirement for the support-hand-only shoot at the 5-yard line has been removed. Applicants only need to qualify once with either a semi-automatic pistol or a revolver to legally carry a pistol and/or revolver.
